What is Unmetered transfer?
Unmetered transfer means the provider does not charge each transferred GB under the stated policy, not that every amount can move at full speed forever.
The expensive mistake
Reading unmetered or unlimited as infinite full-speed capacity. HostBrr's recorded policy gives the selected plan 2,500 GB at normal service and then limits the interface to 10 Mbit/s. There is no per-GB money overage, but the operational penalty can be large enough to break downloads, backups, or media delivery.
Where it appears on your bill
There may be no overage line. The consequence can instead be a port-speed reduction, suspension review, soft limit, or required upgrade described in the acceptable-use policy.
Worked example
The recorded HostBrr Performance 1GB IPv6 plan costs $1.4375/month and includes 2,500 GB before a 10 Mbit/s throttle. At 10 Mbit/s, transferring another 100 GB takes at least 100 x 8 / 10 / 3.6 = 22.2 hours, ignoring protocol overhead. That is not unlimited full-speed transfer.
